TED NUGENT　[┗ロック列伝] [編集]

TED NUGENT（テッド・ニュージェント）は、"野獣ギタリスト"、"ゴンゾ"の異名を持つロック界を代表するギタリスト、本国アメリカでは、日本では想像もつかないくらいにビッグな存在である。

とにかく、彼の良さを知るにはライブが一番！！最高に、阿呆で、とことんハードでストレートなロックンロールを聴きたければ、ライブ盤がお薦め。

米国では人気だが、日本ではほとんど知られていない（ウィキペディアにも載っていない）。
アメリカの野人ぽいキャラ＆スタイル、ギターリフだからかな？笑
ゴツゴツのアメリカンロックだし・・・。

ま、俺もアルバムはライブ盤「Intensities in 10 Cities 」しか持っていないけど。

・自らのバンド AMBOY DUKESを経てソロに転向後、本国アメリカで大ヒットを記録。名曲「キャット・スクラッチ・フィーヴァー」を代表とするスケールの大きなアメリカン・ロックを展開。

アメリカン・ハードロックの真髄をいくワイルド&フーリッシュな快作を数多くリリースしている。89年には、元スティクスのトミー・ショウ、元ナイト・レンジャーのジャック・ブレイズと共に、Damn Yankees (ダム・ヤンキーズ)を結成。

・ちなみに、カーマイン・アピスが、82年「Nugent」や「Little Miss Dangerous 」にて参加している。
